The rubber tubing is reinforced, sleeved, and fitted with an aluminum cover, so you won’t have to worry about leaks. The diamond-cut rotary fittings also allow for some adjustment upon installation, so even cramped towers will be able to accommodate this EK cooler and its small footprint. Should anything go wrong, EK also offers a five-year warranty. In addition to the new pump design, Arctic has fitted the Liquid Freezer II with an integrated motherboard VRM cooling solution – something which we have often hoped to see on an AIO cooler. Arctic has designed a 40mm blower type fan setup into the pump body which potentially can blow cool air out in three directions; this should help with VRM cooling, which in turn can improve performance.

As far as performance goes, the EVGA CLC 120 AIO is on par with other 120mm coolers. It’s not the most robust 120mm cooler on the market, but it will get the job done. It’s not an ideal cooler for a more powerful machine, but it’s been tested and proven to reduce CPU temps by an average of 8 degrees C at idle and under heavier loads. On the software side of things, the Corsair H60 doesn’t support Corsair Link, so you’ll have to configure the cooler via BIOS. This is marginally disappointing, given the cost of this AIO. The Kraken’s performance leaves a bit to be desired, especially given its price point. At close to a premium price, this is one of the more expensive 120mm coolers on the market, but many cheaper options provide much better cooling at lower prices. It’s also on the louder end compared to other coolers. Overall, the Cooler Master MasterLiquid LC120L RGB V2 is a solid offering. It has some of the best RGB integration in the 120mm AIO space, good performance metrics, and is compatible with most modern machines. Despite this, the warranty is a few years shorter than you’d like to see. All in all, though, there’s a lot to like about this cooler. The RGB lights on the pump and fan interface with an RGB-compatible motherboard or can be manipulated with the included controller. If RGB isn’t your thing, this cooler still looks sleek with the lights off, thanks to the matte finish.

The next test will be for the VRM fan. For this, we’re going to start with an overlay demonstrating the linear feet per minute flow, often called FPM or LPM, as measured with a hotwire anemometer at the edge of the chassis for the cooler. The measurement is taken at an angle toward the VRM heatsink. We measured at a few points and under a few conditions. The VRM fan clearly does something, and temperature improvements will follow the more even FPM on either side of the VRM heatsink, but we also want to be clear that a top-mounted radiator would also benefit the VRM. This is something we simulate in our test setup. VRM Thermals Altogether, this Thermaltake 120mm AIO is an incredible cooler. You won’t find a cooler with more RGB LED support if that happens to be your thing. You’ll have tons of customization options for those lights as well.

I expect most liquid coolers and the best air coolers to meet this standard. A sütik feldolgozásával kapcsolatos beleegyezését visszavonhatja. The manufacturer also equips the pump element with a heat-conductive copper base plate and a 40 millimeter fan for cooling the voltage transformers. The high heat absorption capacity and the good heat transfer through the 120 mm radiator make this complete water cooling an excellent choice for compact but powerful systems. As far as software is concerned, the Kraken M22 is compatible with NZXT Cam. This software lets you adjust the fan’s RPM and the RGB LED configuration. It’s quite simple and straightforward and allows you a great deal of control. In fact, the RGB controls are some of the most intuitive you’ll find. Installing this ARTIC cooler is similar to installing many other AIO coolers. ARCTIC doesn’t try to reinvent the wheel here or anything; it’s just some simple screws and applying a bit of thermal paste. The included thumbscrews mean your screwdriver can stay in your bag while you install this cooler, and its small footprint will help it find a home in just about any tower. This means that coolers that kept previous generation products like the i9-10900K nice and cool sometimes struggle to keep Intel's i9-12900K under TJ max–the maximum temperature before the CPU starts to throttle. Many coolers that I’ve tested fail to keep the i9-12900K under TJ max when power limits are removed in workloads like Cinebench and OCCT when I’ve tested them, including many coolers I previously considered “top of the line.” Nonetheless, its performance is incredible, especially given its price point, and its build quality is undeniable. All things considered, this cooler represents incredible value and is one of the very best 120mm AIO coolers on the market. Like many other AIO coolers, installing the Cooler Master MasterLiquid LC120L RGB V2 is very easy. It’s as simple as fastening a few screws, and PC builders of all levels will have no issues getting this cooler up and running. That is mighty impressive for a cooler with such a small form factor. Unfortunately, the fan was working overtime during these tests and was quite loud. The most noticeable thing about the Corsair Hydro Series H60 is how quietly the fan and pump runs. Sitting at a desk with the tower closed off, the cooler seems totally silent, especially with the fan running at its lowest settings. If you need more power, it’s simple to adjust the fan speed. Even as fan speed ramps up, it still manages to stay almost unnoticeable.

As for the price of the MasterLiquid LC120L, this cooler represents a good bargain. You’ll be hard-pressed to find a cooler with more RGB and this level of cooling performance for less money. However, the warranty on this AIO is only 2 years, compared to Corsair’s or ASUS’s 5-year warranty. That might be a deal-breaker for some, as the peace of mind can easily be worth a few dollars more. While the thermal paste application means installation isn’t quite as beginner-friendly as some other coolers on the market, it’s still a painless process. All things considered, this AIO cooler is beautifully designed but just a little bit flawed. You can find better cooling functionality for less money, even in the 120mm class. NZXT also offers a 6-year warranty, which is the longest manufacturer warranty offered on this list. For this cooler to be a good deal, you’ll have to love the look of the infinity RGB. But if that’s you, this cooler is well-made and features a warranty that makes it a worthy investment.I'll be testing Arctic’s Liquid Freezer II 240 with Intel's i9-12900K. Due to the increased thermal density of the Intel 7 manufacturing process, as well as changes to core and component layouts, Alder Lake CPUs are more difficult to cool than previous generation CPUs in the most heat-intensive of workloads. If dazzling RGB is your thing, you’ll love the Thermaltake TH120 AIO cooler. This cooler is absolutely dripping with RGB LEDs and also boasts great cooling performance at an affordable price. In fact, its comparatively low price point makes it one of the most attractive options on the list for a bargain hunter. Arctic has built, thus far, a good product. We need to see how it does long-term, as Enermax has scared us away from firm recommendations on thermals alone. We would recommend the Arctic Liquid Freezer II 280 as a go-to solution over competing liquid coolers, based on thermal and acoustic performance, although we’d also note that most proven (e.g. Asetek, CoolIT) coolers will perform similarly. If you want RGB LEDs, you’re mostly just paying more for them, but should be in the ballpark for performance. The ASUS ROG Strix LC 120 is a robust, high-performance AIO with customizable RGB lights on the pump head. It looks stylish and modern, and its cooling abilities are amazing, but it gets just a little bit too loud to take the top spot as the best 120mm AIO cooler.
