The writing was beautiful, but I expected nothing else from Pearson after she totally blew me away with her Remnant Chronicles series. AND THAT END, I CAN'T EVEN, ESPECIALLY IN THE TEMPLE, I ALMOST CRIED OUT OF HAPPINESS (the second time this has happened!) What Jase said was just YES. INCREDIBLE. AMAZING.

Jase's family was great. Kazi's friends were great. In most YA books, the girl MC don't have girl friends. But she does. She has a great relationship with them<3jase, a member of the ballanger family - he is now the new appointed leader (patrei) of his kingdom after his fathers sudden death. he is a fierce protector and loves his kingdom and his family thoroughly. jase was swoon-worthy and motivated by honor and compassion - the way he cares so deeply towards his family was so precious to me and i love how he isn’t afraid to love. let me just post a cute lil quote from him!! Sooo I didn't really like The Remnant Chronicles by this same author, but everyone seems to have loved this spin-off series so I decided to give it a try. Thank god I did because this first book was really amazing! The love between Kazi and Jase was so alive and real. You could feel it, hear it, see it in everything they said and did, and I loved that . Dance of Thieves” by Mary E. Pearson is a young adult fantasy novel set in Remnant, a world divided into kingdoms controlled by strong families. I have a soft spot for Mary E. Pearson's books. She's a master at worldbuilding and angst, and her other series sent me over the roof with feels. Naturally, I was eager to get my hands on this new series set in the same world!

Seriously, sooo much better than The Remnant Chronicles! Kazi is such an amazing, hot, badass and smart character! She really carried this book and I love love LOVEEEE her so so much! The things she had to go through in this book… I was so scared for her but she fought through all of it. She’s such a strong person and I’m just so glad that she finally got her happy ending that she deserves so so soooo much!!Sometimes you need to own one whole day. Maybe that’s what makes you brave enough to face another.” The writing was incredible! It was so descriptive I literally felt like i was watching a movie through the papers. the world building of the story was so cool and unique. The plot was so good. Everything was just perfect <3 The things I didn't like was that hey jumped into romance so fast they were barely enemies and that made me so disappointed because I thought this was enemies to lovers but it wasn't it was more like forbidden romance. With opposing loyalties and many to mistrust at court, the two dance dangerously close to death as the relationship between them strengthens.
