About this deal

Next, carve the building in the picture above starting with the outline then moving onto the smaller details.

The golden eggs are placed within the pile of dragon eggs protected by the female nesting dragons during the first task. Ludo Bagman informs the champions that the golden eggs contain the key to the second task of the Tournament; the eggs have hinges which allow them to open to reveal the clue. The only reason I can imagine, is just because of the sheer cost of production, I think it just would be very, very expensive and also probably the hinges of where it does open – would probably be very delicate, so probably prone to breakages… Start carving your design with your ultra fine point marker. Carve lines down from a center point on the top of your egg.So if it was a very expensive prop but then also delicate, I’m not sure how popular that would be – however… So these photos I took at Warner Bros Studio Tour London, when they had the Goblet of Fire exhibition No matter how hard Harry tries, the sound the egg makes does not change. Nothing happens to the egg when Harry asks it questions over the wailing noise, nor when he throws it across the room. When I had eaten enough, and probably more than enough, I simply closed up the tin and sealed it with a clasp. I felt very cool, so I can only imagine the excitement of a kid receiving this egg.

With a flavourful white chocolate hollow egg featured in a hand-finished shimmer tin that features designs inspired by Hogwarts. On the last (or fourth) Monday of each month, a group of bloggers participate in a #MovieMondayChallenge, hosted by C’mon Get Crafty! We decide on a topic, genre, or specific movie to use for inspiration and everyone gets free reign to create something wonderful! The British high-street retailer has been known to sell chocolate treats for sweet-tooth witches and wizards, particularly at Christmas time. After your clay has dried completely, cover it in gold enamel paint. Let it dry completely. Step 21 (Optional) I will be doing more things like this reviewing other items – leave me a comment section below, let me know which one you’d like to see next! Watch: I compared French baguettes from Lidl, Tesco, Waitrose and more and only one lived up to my Parisian hopes

M&S has launched a Harry Potter golden egg that’s inspired by the magical object in the fourth film, The Goblet of Fire. But, there’s one particular egg which is sending Harry Potter fans into a frenzy and we can’t wait to get our hands on it too. This DIY Harry Potter Golden Egg is the most fun egg project I have ever made. It is the perfect new covert nerd decor for your home. Originally I was going to use it as Easter decor but I love it so much it is going to be out year-long. Guess what! It is made with simple materials that come together to create a gorgeous piece of covert nerd decor for your home. Even better, it is a fun way to inject your nerd style into your Easter decor. Lastly, add the design on the left of the first building you carved. Use the photo above for reference. Step 8

I’ll be going through the pros and the cons of this prop replica and in a moment I’ll show you close-up shots that I took of the actual prop at the Warner Bros Studio Tour, so you can see how they compare… Harry is able to open the golden egg by digging his fingers into the groove that runs all the way around it. When the egg is opened, a horrible screeching noise, a loud wailing, fills the room. So that one was the hero prop (so for close-up shots in the film) it would have the highest level of detail… Then flatten your ball of clay and use it to cover your egg. It helps to roll the egg in your hands to evenly spread the clay. Be sure to pinch the seams and flatten them. When opened underwater, with Harry's head submerged as well, the screeching sound made by the egg is revealed to be a song. A chorus of eerie voices sing to Harry from the open egg:

From the Story [ ] Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire [ ] Discovered in chapter 20, The First Task [ ] “ The catch at the top does not twist to reveal the three portions that open, to show the inner crystal bubbles that release a screeching sound and when you hold it underwater, plays the mermaid song… So I love the shiny, shiny gold of this egg – I mean I think I used to be a niffler because I’m kind of obsessed with foiling… It’s available to buy in M&S stores now but as of yet, hasn’t appeared online – so keep your eyes peeled. It also has this cute little owl face at the top and the feather catches on the side. It does still have the trademark at the bottom, but fortunately that’s at the very bottom, so when displayed it does not show ‘made by Warner Bros’ on the side, taking you out of magic…
