Build up the layers of paint around the centre of the acrylic sheet so that it is opaque. If you are finding this hard to do with a paint brush, your can swap to a foam brush and stipple the paint on to fill any gaps or streaks. To get started, remove the protective sheet from one side of your acrylic. Taking the film off might attract dust to the surface of the acrylic – if that happens, give it a wipe down with a microfiber or antistatic cloth. Once your beads have rehydrated, it's time to start layering! Get all of the other decorations you're going to add to your vases ready and laid out in front of you. Start by adding a small layer of gel beads to the vase, then arrange some pearls/jewels/flowers on top of them, followed by another small layer of gel beads. Repeat this until your vase is full (leave an inch or so gap at the top) and you are happy with the layout.
