About this deal

In 2023, the game VAN DAMME – Dawn of the Chihuahuas from the French gaming company, AwareCorp Studios was released. In the sci-fi game for mobile devices, which sees Van Damme pairing up with his chihuahua Lola, players save dogs in distress, while helping real rescued dogs. The game also raises funds for various animal rescue organizations around the world. Van Damme stated: "I’m delighted to be taking part in this fantastic adventure game, and to be supporting animal welfare, a cause close to my heart. I’ve always been a dog lover and I’m determined to help abandoned animals who need a second chance. Lola and I are delighted to be contributing to the success of a game that will not only entertain, but also make a real difference to thousands of vulnerable animals." Of course afterwards it starts to get a little more serious. But only too often when Van-Damme hits his stride does the editing start to get carried away. He finishes off the swimming pool pepper with an elbow shot, which the film repeats about five times from different angles before the guy finally goings down. Elder, Miriam (13 October 2011). Frank told me a lot of tall tales, most of which turned out to be bullshit. But his stories about participating in this so-called "Kumite" event sounded like a great idea for a movie. There was one guy who he introduced me to, named Richard Bender, who claimed to have actually been at the Kumite event and who swore everything Frank told me was true. A few years later this guy had a falling-out with Frank, and confessed to me that everything he told me about the Kumite was a lie; Frank had coached him in what to say." [8] A significant inspiration for the film was 1975's Hard Times, a favorite of both Van Damme and Lettich. The Wrong Bet followed a similar template, pairing a somber hero with a shifty yet endearing manager (respectively played by Charles Bronson and James Coburn in the classic film). From here he obtains a self imposed manager in the form of, man of the street, Joshua and the two make it into the underground world of bloodsport street fighting (Geddit! I can make jokes too!). He makes his way up the ranks fighting in underground car parks with cheating Scotsmen; empty swimming pools with long haired Anthony Kiedis lookalikes; and slowly towards that big fat pay day with a fight with the humungous Atilla (someone much more of Andre the Giant’s stature).
