While I was brooding for hours in front of the wardrobe, she was ready in 5 minutes and always looked fancy bello - without ever looking dressed up. Fragrances that are so interestingly composed and whose course turns out to be so amazing that you just want to have them - even if you don't really know when you want to wear them (or could, without frightening your loved ones) before you buy them. I like to jokingly call these scents "vernissage scents" (for me Joop! Homme belongs to this group). But who of us regularly goes to such seeing and being seen happenings? Probably the fewest.

All in all, the reformulations, at least in this case, is not a myth - and clearly having an impact on the overall "fullness" of the fragrance, which I also noticed with the last bottle I got few years ago, and who knows how it will be if I buy another one today (probably my bottle still has Lilial). It smells nice, but i can already tell that the longevity, projection and sillage is not good. Pretty soon after i sprayed this, it is already a skin scent. Just as in other CH Fragrances (CH Men, CH Privé) the longevity is just not there after the original release. Bad Boy & Bad Boy Parfum do have better performance to me. I had bought the Damen Chic because it reminded me of my girlfriend, who was light as a feather to look chic.Man this a nice surprise. If you like the MI DNA, i'm sure this will please you. It doesn't smell exactly like it, but it's in the same ballpark. Unforgivable by Sean John too and Milestone. The difference though is this has less of that "salty" or "lemony" feel of the previous ones and is softer, more "clean" type of scent. There's no sweetness here so nothing that reminds you of the new-era of CH. Don't let the simplistic bottle fool you: This smells exactly as the name suggests - Chic. Chic for men used to be one of my favorites since it was released in 2004. The smell was so nice, pleasant, not overpowering and very soft.

The brand is pretty much my favorite brand and almost all are in my possession. The 212 series, the CH series and now also this Chic. I like this chic very much, because it is almost always applicable and never seems somehow out of place.

It starts with a lot of fruit, freshness and pleasantly discreet spice. Melon and mandarin combine well to a fruity note, which is very pleasant. The freshness is not too citric with citric notes, but rather perceptible as a pleasant freshness. A pleasant sweetness is also present, which fits in well. The seasoning is subtle and gentle. The cardamom fits perfectly into the top note and remains present longer. I don't really perceive the heart note of pepper and cinnamon, but it's quite possible that these notes fit in here. It resembles DKNY Men so easily, which is also indicated here as a fragrance twin. Would also be a much cheaper alternative to Amyris Homme from MFK, which is not a fragrance twin, but still goes in a similar direction. Second time, I walked out of a gas station and I kid you not a woman followed me out off the gas station and said “ hey you! what cologne are you wearing?” PS this was 2+ hrs after applying and it was in the dead of winter in January with strong winds. It can easily be mistaken as a 4hr old Blue de Chanel or Allure homme sport without the grapefruit/citrus blast that Bleu or Allure homme sport has.
