About this deal

As the name suggests, it has an unforgettable, unpleasant odour...it smells really bad, but it really works! Give it a try and see for yourself! It even degreases the engine compartment. Dont leave it on plastic or rubber surfaces too long, just in case, not that I have seen any damage in the last 2 years I've been using it.

Budget: Prices vary widely, although you don’t need to spend a lot for good results. You simply need to find the best products. That work has gladly been done for you by us. These iron removers are some of the best products for removing iron particles from your car but to make the job even more effective try the following;Don’t let dull, grimy alloys drag your car down. Use the power of the Dragon to get your wheel trims looking pristine – it’s pH neutral so you can use it on all kinds of alloys, paintwork, and glass, too! How to Use Dragon’s Blood Like I said before, this will really come in handy on german, luxury or heavy vehicles where iron contamination will be high. Bilberry Wheel Cleaner is our alkaline wheel cleaner with a neat pH of 13.56, making it an extremely strong but effective wheel cleaner with great dilution ratios. We only recommend this to be used on painted or lacquered wheels. Do note that since it is an alkaline, any coating or sealants/waxes will be stripped upon use; Dragon’s Breath would be the better choice to maintain your protection.

Removing fallout use to require the use of oxalic acid to break down and break apart the ferrous metal from the affected surface, usually paint, wheels & glass but have now been developed so that you no longer require an acidic fallout remover but a completely safe PH neutral formula which is even more effective than its acidic rival. It has the infamous iron remover smell so just be mindful when using it on a windy day(!) but the smell is a little nuisance compared to the big positive of making fallout removal easy and very effective. Usually I'd clean the wheels in the manner I said above and then seal them and use ph-neutral wheel cleaner as part of the regular maintenance wash routine, only using fallout remover every 6 months or so. Now you have a list of the best iron removers we have used for our professional detailing services and hope you find these products useful in rectifying a problem or simply used to keep your car looking mint.

Review by Keith Gribbin - Precious Metal Detailing

This competition gives us two of the best iron removers for detailing and are both very good choices if you are looking for one to buy. Those using more conventional formulas have also raised their game, and it has been interesting to see how they have matched the new generation in recent tests after a period of red domination. It will make your wheels bleed purple just like regular iron removers so you can tell when contamination is present. If you are using as a wheel cleaner then this wheel cleaner will almost make cleaning your wheels a touch-less process. Apply the solution generously. Wait for the reaction and for the liquid to turn purple. Once this has happened, rinse thoroughly with water and repeat the treatment if necessary. Dragon’s Breath causes a chemical reaction that forces the iron particles contained in brake dust and road grime to change state from solid to water. As the gel begins to work particles in the iron turn a dark red/purple and can then be wiped away, rinsed or jetted washed off. It’s so effective you’ll see results even on seemingly clean surfaces. Unlike claying or polishing Dragon’s Breath stops the spread of iron particles beneath the surface, rather than simply removing the iron particles.

Excellent value for money as 10 evenly distributed sprays will cover one of your cars wheels. However, if you do have sever iron contamination feel free to spray more liberally. Pro-Kleen Troll's Breath is an Iron-Contamination remover that is safe to use on all lacquered paint work, chrome, glass, plastic, stainless steel, wheels and even rubber, that has a specialcolour indicator! Once the Troll's Breathhas activated the clear gel solution will start to turn purple as soon as it begins to break down the iron contamination.Spray the gel/liquid formula directly on to your wheels. Allow the product to settle and dwell for approximately 5-10 minutes. Once the liquid has changed from clear to a shade of purple then rinse the wheels clean with warm water. If necessary, reapply the solution again and agitate with a soft brush. Dragon’s Breath is a Ph neutral formula, that comes in a clear gel form, meaning you can use just the right amount accurately and being pH neutral means its safe to use on all wheel surfaces.
