Thankfully, Mars Hydro was kind enough to include a single outlet timer so you don’t need to manually unplug the grow light after each day’s light cycle. The FC-E Series is a twin of the FC Series - they share the same designs of appearance and diode layout so growers can enjoy the benefits of uniform lighting as well. I love the capability to dim the lights to the intensity you want as well. This dimming option allows your light to be the right intensity in all stages of growing and is an exceptional option to have! The ability to dim was one of the buying points, which brings me to how much I enjoy the “”daisy-chaining”” capability! It’s nice to know your lights are all set equally the same. I was actually so pleased with the exceptional quality and design, that I talked myself into purchasing another model, the TSL-2000. I can literally say that, I’ve never seen anything more magnificent! As before mentioned, I love the “”daisy- chaining”” functionality! When it comes to these Mars Hydro TS Series grow lights, the TS 1000 will likely get you a moderate yield based on its light intensity. The features also put them on par with the smaller quantum board LED grow lights, but at a mass production price. It is a bit annoying to use the dimmable feature as you have to remove a silicon plug on its base and use a screwdriver to adjust the power output. Considering the cost of these grow lights, the ability to maintain strong intensity at the edges of the coverage area is pretty impressive because the light from most other cheap LED grow lights tend to drop off long before the edge of their respective coverage area.
