Unparalleled sex that rides the line of erotic but never manages to cross...just barely staying mainstream. Eden is really talented about using exactly the right words to be super hot and titillating but never over the top. She uses sex to bring her couple together both physically and emotionally, and she utilizes it throughout the story, not just thrown in as a romance genre duty. Sex and seduction are a tool of her trade, and she wields them to perfection!

I read " Tempt the Boss" from this writer and had great fun. However, not all of her books are my cuppa. Once Ace and Shelby gave in to their feelings, they had some epic chemistry. And I loved that they still held on to their friendship. They were so fun together and the romance just added another layer to their relationship, it didn’t take anything away. When I started this journey four months ago I never expected to end up here. But yet, here I am. Completely in love with Noah York and completely loving Cynthia Eden's ability to craft such suspenseful romances. I figured after the two prior books in this series that I would have been able to figure it out, that I would pinpoint the way she shaped the scenes and gave the clues... but nope. I was kept on the edge of my seat until the end and my mind was going crazy trying to figure it all out. Like if I was able solve the puzzle, find all the clues - I could stop it all from happening. The characters are easy to connect with them emotionally.The pacing is fast! The love scenes are passionate and actually moves the story along... The story itself was well plotted and turns to keep your attention!

I really enjoyed this book, it was so much better than the first two. I may have had a slight problem near the end but I decided not take away stars because I was actually being a little insensitive well actually a lot insensitive. I figure the heroine was being a bit melodramatic about dying But that's just me. I loved the way this book started out. The way Shelby confronted her cheating fiancé was epic. She showed what a strong female character she was and it was inspiring. I loved the relationship she had with her sisters. They’d created the best wedding event business in the area and they took such pride in it. I loved getting another dose of Harlow and Travis.

When Noah starts making strong statements to Claire, she gets scared. Her ex-turned-psycho did a very similar thing. Claire has no idea if Noah can be trusted or if she is falling into another horrific relationship. I didn't understand what the author meant with the repeated paragraph or two from the end of the previous chapter in a different POV. It didn't add to anything and didn't provide me with anything new. I ended up skimming that everytime I saw that, which was quite often. Yet, here he is walking into his childhood home now, where his baby sister, Teddy, and, her fiance, Scott now live. Ever since his parents passed away, there were too many memories in the town and the family home. But, it is not the time for him to get bogged down with memories. Watching Noah open up about his own painful past was an amazing view of his character. When Noah and Claire had their discussion on love and obessesion it was truly heart wrenching, because their is such a fine line to walk. Fantastic book, in an already great series (now- will we get to learn more about deep, dark, DRAKE- please say yes, CYNTHIA EDEN!!!) We've already met Claire, we saw her pain when she lost her sister and we learned her painful secrets of her past. And although we knew that kind of pain would never leave her, we had no idea that it still haunted her, stalked her... obsessed over her. Everyone she has loved has been murdered. And when someone begins systematically killing all those connected to her tragic past, Claire has to face her worst nightmare. But everyone seems to be a suspect.

When things went terribly wrong, Claire ended up feeling guilty for the devastation her romance left behind. Despite the fact that her ex was behind bars, she found herself being stalked by someone on the outside. Claire finds herself in danger and she ends up at the doorstep of Noah York looking for a job. Someone is after Claire and the stakes are getting higher. She is being followed and people are turning up dead. But who is after her and why? Shelby was not in a festive mood. Even though her mom, went all out having the spa day, brought it to their home. She went straight to her old room to figure things out. When the girls joined her. That's when a text came in that would change her world. With the help of family, all the characters took their place. So, tea up, chunky monkey it will be bumpy. No one would be the wiser with the performance the three girls were giving. That's exactly what they need to pull it off at just the right time. This right here, no matter how we got here, is our moment.I love, love, love, love this series. It's perfect length to fit in between longer reads, it's hot as sin, the alpha's are fiercely protective and possessive, (my favorite), there's danger lurking behind all corners, and mostly you suspect everyone before the end. I'll say I had the killer pegged in this one, but I did second guess it once, okay maybe twice. Someone else is just as consumed by Claire--someone who will kill to possess her. And if Noah can't stop the hunter in the darkness, he may just lose the one woman that he can't live without.
