The sign must not be displayed so it is visible to a road from an object which is not a vehicle (like a mailbox, billboard, or structure), and vehicles not on a public road must remove or hide the sign if it can be seen from the road. As the driver, you are still responsible for the vehicle if you use a driver assistance system (like motorway assist). This is also the case if you use a hand-held remote control parking app or device. You MUST have full control over these systems at all times. You MUST NOT exceed the maximum speed limits for the road and for your vehicle (see the table below). A speed limit of 30 mph (48 km/h), or 20mph (32km/h) in Wales, generally applies to all roads with street lights (excluding motorways) unless signs show otherwise. On narrow sections of road, horse riders may ride in the centre of the lane. Allow them to do so for their own safety to ensure they can see and be seen.

Slow moving vehicles are required under Ontario law to have slow moving signs attached to them. This requirement is detailed under Highway Traffic Act section 76(1)as follows: Slow moving vehicle sign In the United States, slow-moving Vehicle Emblem Requirements are defined in the 29 CFR 1910 Occupational Safety and Health Administration .145(d)(10) regulation. By displaying the sign, drivers can alert other motorists to the presence of a slow-moving vehicle and reduce the risk of accidents. b) providing that subsection (1) does not apply to a horse-drawn vehicle when driven by a person whose religious convictions or beliefs prohibit the display of devices such as the slow moving vehicle sign; These signs change according to traffic conditions to give drivers current information on delays and lane closures ahead. After all, everyone on the road has the right to reach their destination safely, regardless of their speed or mode of transportation. Therefore, these signs foster a culture of mutual respect and understanding among all road users. Legal Implications of Ignoring slow-moving Vehicle Signs If you are not currently using your slow moving vehicle sign, ensure to put it somewhere safe and out of view of vehicles that may be driving down the road. If you place the sign on or near an object where it can be seen from the road, you risk getting into trouble with the police and being charged. The location of the SMV sign is important. The sign must be displayed on the rear of the slow-moving vehicle, at a height of between 2 and 6 feet from the ground. The sign should also be mounted on a flat surface to ensure maximum visibility, and it should not be obstructed by any other objects or equipment. Color:
