Oh, and there is Coconut, yes, but It's not overwhelming. (I actually don't like Coconut in fragrances, as Coco tend to smell "burnt" or playdough-like on my skin.) - And with this D&G scent I do get a tiny bit of something "burnt" for a short time, which is not bothering me at all. This is not unpleasant on my skin but it's not anything special. It smells very generic and faint. It's as if I just now used a tester swab for an unimpressive fragrance. This fragrance is a wallflower scent, just standing on the sides and not worthy of attention. Update; it’s like a cross between Crystal Noir (dark white floral-coconut aspect) and Hypnotic Poison Eau Sensuelle (creamy, smooth vanilla aspect). Ofcourse the quality of this scent is not on par with Dior’s sadly discontinued Hypnotic Poison Eau Sensuelle, this one has great projection for a few hours but fades soon after, HP Sensuelle lasted over 12 hours on me, The Only One Intense has moderate longevity on me, about 5-6 hours…maybe it’s my nose? Anyhow, if you’re a fan of Dior’s Hypnotic Poison Eau Sensuelle and you like Crystal Noir EdP but cannot wear it due to the spices, then you need to atleast test this fragrance.

This is not screechy, doesn't burn my eyes (jasmine...euuugh) and is smoother than any of the BO line that I've experienced...with the exception of the "BO-Le Parfum" which I absolutely am addicted to and adore beyond measure. I have had to think very hard to remember the last time I finished a full sized bottle of fragrance. I tend to rotate my fragrances - season, emotion, shaking up my fragrance wardrobe (I am so easily bored....). This one stayed put - at my side, within easy reach - a uplifting daytime scent, a comforting night time scent. I truly appreciate how this smells on me, and how it makes me feel. It's a mix of all that I love in a fragrance. It's sweet, but does not make my head hurt. It's warm, but not so warm that it gets ignored when the temperature rises. It makes me feel both sexy and clean. We all - especially fragrance tragics like myself - spend a lot of time searching for that certain something, a scent that we doesn't require a great deal of pondering and thought. On me, the bergamot and the middle notes take over the base notes I wanted. I get so little caramel that it's almost invisible. There is ZERO vanilla for me. I waited over an hour for it to "develop" and, nope. Nothing. I haven’t really fairly tested how this gem performs yet but I would say so far this lasts with a moderate sillage and probably you’ll go nose blind after first few hours but everyone else would smell a divine trail. I wish it would’ve performed a little better but I really enjoy it and considering trying The Only One bec I haven’t yet. its a rich creamy fruity rose scent......and i dont mean fruity in a teen way lol........its an adult version for sure :) i picture a woman in a beautiful long red velvet gown- hair swooped up , perfect red lips - everyone eyeing her type of gal going to a evening gala in this scent :)If only coffee WAS detectable, it could have maybe worked out better. Citruses as well are mute. This is just powder, sugar, and more powder, and sugar, layer after layer until a faint - and dizzy at this point - feeble floral note attempts to make its appearance. You know when brands bring out “intense” and “extreme” versions of perfumes and it’s a total lie? This isn’t one of those. It’s intense and it means it. If you prefer to go unnoticed and under the radar, don’t buy this one, it’s got presence. On the first sniff in the store the sales lady gave me 4 sprays on my left wrist and I fell in love immediately with this scent. It just filled me with happiness and energy and I kept sniffing my wrist the entire day because it kept getting my attention, poking my interest. When first sprayed I thought this is scent right up my alley that's sweet and reminds me a bit of La Vie Est Belle. Would be good for cooler months, more so at night, but could be worn during the day too. Ages 20-30. I think of my Latino roommates clubbing, as they had this type of scent bomb perfume. Slightly reminds minds me if Miss Boucheron. D&G has more of a fruit note though. Also slightly reminds me of Katy Perry Killer Queen, but this is MUCH better. KQ was too strong for me. This is def not a safe blind buy!

EDIT: After the first full-day wear, I will allow this to sit and macerate in the closet for a few months and return to it. The scent is absolutely lovely, but it does not project at all currently. Hopefully it will mature and reach it's full potential... Dark red is not the color I would give TOO2. I know it's red for red rose and berries but it seems more hotpink than anything, even a mid-toned pink. The bottle with the big 2 is lame though. Just comes across as very flippant like no thought was put into it. The Only One Eau de Parfum Intense is available as a 30ml Eau de Parfum Intense, 50ml Eau de Parfum Intense and 100ml Eau de Parfum Intense from January 2020.On my clothes it remains a little more fruity sweet. It’s almost like two different scents that smell great together. The Only One Eau de Parfum Intense builds on the floriental legacy of The Only One line with a captivating new scent. Like the woman it represents, the fragrance is an intricate combination of intense and solar sensuality. Alluringly feminine and irresistibly seductive, its signature lies in the surprising combination of dazzling gold These are different, but there are similarities after the openings with super sweet grape-leaning jasmine from the heart into the drydown. TOOI has a forward creamy quality that's dialed way down in RC. Roughly equivalent performance, but RCRC has a louder scent profile so it may seem like a stronger performer to some. I do not quite understand the negativity for this perfume, i do agree that the name has no selling value, who wants to be the only one but the second?
