If you have more than one hat to wash, this method may be better. Even though it’s designed to wash dishes, a dishwasher can actually be used to wash hats and baseball caps as well. Roll a towel into a ball that resembles the shape of your head and place it inside the hat. Leave the hat somewhere well-ventilated to air dry. Our heads produce a lot of heat, and therefore a lot of sweat. Normally, this sweat will naturally evaporate, but when you cover it with your coolest baseball cap, the sweat will soak into the hat’s material. Over time, this will start to stain your cap, leaving yellowish blotches or lines. The pressure barrel is made up of several parts, including the barrel itself, a lid with a pressure release valve, a tap, and a carbon dioxide (CO2) cylinder. The barrel is typically made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic, which is food-grade and can withstand the pressure of carbonation. Rinse the hat with warm water. Dry it using a towel to remove as much water as possible. Avoid pressing too hard, as this can distort the shape of the hat.

This applies more to new hats, as they’re more susceptible to losing their colour. Try your chosen detergent on the inside of the hat to see if any fading occurs. I need a method to cover screws for a high end client at a blue chip event and Snap-caps fitted the bill perfectly, not only was the product great the range of colours gave a perfect finish. The only problem i have was deciding what shade of blue to choose!!!!!! Goods received in next days post and sales staff were helpful and friendly. Would use this company again. Fitting the Cap to the Washer may require more force. It may also result in a white 'stress' ring forming around the perimeter of the cap.
