On 6 May, Chelmsford Cathedral will join churches and cathedrals across the country in a Ring for The King to mark the Coronation.

Through his great love of painting and drawing he has commissioned me to paint so many outstanding celebrations, including Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee on the Thames.”Also among the items being displayed at the museum is a replica of the miniature bible used at the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. Finally, visitors on Monday, May 8 will be invited to help with cleaning and carding wool and planting part of the giant green cross for the green king. Oldham council have announced a special festival in Oldham Town Centre on Saturday 6th May to celebrate the crowning of our new king.
