The Lumbar Rolls are made from high density orthopedic foam, designed and manufactured in the UK for over 40 years this product supports your lumbar region and counteracts slouching when sitting at home, the office or in the car. A high seat will make it easier to stand up and sit down, particularly if you find it difficult to push up using your arms or if you have any pain or weakness in your legs.

If the front legs are joined by a cross bar or are filled in with upholstery you may not be able to position your feet under the chair. This could make standing up more difficult. They can also get in the way if you use a hoist for getting in and out of the chair.
