How Many Mogu Mogu Flavours Are There?

When deciding to taste test all of the Mogu Mogu drinks, I came into it with a lot of assumptions. Firstly, I assumed that I would like the Mango and Peach flavours best, as these are two flavours I usually enjoy. Secondly, I assumed that the texture might get in the way of the flavour. On both accounts I feel like I was wrong, but that certainly doesn’t mean Mango was bad. In fact, not to give away too many spoilers for the rest of this article, but I’d say Mango is probably the third best of the selection. It’s a crisp, refreshing and tangy mango flavour, and I think the jelly pieces add a dynamic element to the texture of the drink. After I finished it, I kind of wanted another one straight away, so that’s certainly a good sign. It’s definitely a sublime mango drink experience. Overall, I’d give this flavour an 8/10. The flavour itself is a very good imitation of lychee, but it also had a kind of… floral taste to it? If you’re looking for a drink that’s still sweet but perhaps a little less sweet than the other flavours of mogu mogu, this would be a good one to choose. It reminded me a lot of the lychee flavoured popping pearls or perhaps more specifically, the lychee jelly that you might get in a bubble tea. It’s pretty good, and I’d definitely drink it again. I’d give it a strong 7.5/10.

There’s something about this particular flavour that feels a bit more like a fruit juice than the rest of the flavours: a slightly lighter taste perhaps. Once again, the jelly pieces do a good job of enhancing the flavour. On the whole, it’s a pretty comprehensive peach drink experience, and much like with mango, I think it’s a flavour that works well in jelly form. It’s a strong showing, and I really enjoyed it, so I can’t help but give this flavour a ground-breaking 9 out of 10.
