Films' utilizes more or less the same verbiage as MVD did last year by proclaiming this to be "a brand new 4K scan of the original camera negative". Drive landed at a potential crossroads in Nicholas Winding Refn’s career as a director, with its success at the box office offering a possible pathway for him into the American mainstream. Refn being Refn, he didn’t take that road, and instead followed his own muse with his follow-up vehicle Only God Forgives, a film that’s deliberately designed to frustrate viewer expectations. Of course, Drive had done something similar, albeit to a lesser extent, but still enough so that one person actually filed a lawsuit against distributor FilmDistrict for false advertising. She claimed that the marketing made it look like a Fast and Furious style action movie, when needless to say, it’s nothing of the sort. (She also accused it of being anti-Semitic, and even if that had been true, it’s not clear why she expected to be legally compensated for that fact.) The unexpected commercial success of Drive notwithstanding, Refn’s sensibilities were never meant for the mainstream.Buy a UHD drive from the guide and how to video maker: https://www.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic ... 20&t=17831 I just tried one of each of these sata-usb adapters and neither worked for flashing, which was strange because it was (visually) the one Marty said he had, but the part number IS different. Second Sight’s standard 4K Ultra HD release of Drive is UHD only, with a Region B Blu-ray version released separately. The disc-based content is identical to their gorgeous Limited Edition set that’s long out-of-print (more on that later). The following extras are included:

Audio commentary by director Steve Wang, fight choreographer Koichi Sakamoto and stars Mark Dacascos and Kadeem Hardison LG BH16NS55, UHD Friendly Internal 5.25 sata | Rip speed 8x BD 66 ~45 mins BD 100 ~1 hour if flashed properly other wise 6x rip speed and slower then BU40NThe vagaries of licensing often offer fans a kind of weird insight into the wheeling and dealing of the home video market, and in that regard it's BP50NB40, UHD Officialish External Slim 9.5mm USB 2.0 | Rip speed 6x BD 66 ~45 mins BD 100 ~1 hour 5mins

And if that is not already exceptional, Dolby Vision adds a depth and vibrancy to the image that simply has to be seen. Colours are rich with intensity, blues especially, but all primaries fare well. Skin tones are perfectly natural, even in the dream state, and watch how the picture grade fades as the film progresses from bright to dark but retaining depth and focus – stunning. That isn’t to say the film is without fault, of course. This is a 1997 production, complete with the kind of cheap sets and explosions you’d expect from the era, but the precision and weight of the action set it apart whenever you think artifice will fully take over. A drab motel room turns into a fully realized fighting area in one sequence, showing you the possibilities within that limited space. There are even a couple of fun and dated green screen shots where the villains look like they’re being devoured by the bad effects behind them. Seeing those in 4K was a distinct pleasure that I’m sure other people will enjoy.Flashed an NS50 firmware to an NS40 drive and can no longer read disks this IMG has all the NS40 FW you need to recover your drive just follow my dos flash video guide linked above Therefore, try Leawo UHD Copy today. Though it began as a potential pilot for a new series, David Lynch’s Mulholland Drive went well beyond its potential 4x3 confines, becoming one of his most celebrated cinematic works. Much of the credit can be laid at the feet of Naomi Watts, who was mostly unknown at the time she was cast in the film, giving a powerhouse performance that launched her career. Like many of Lynch’s works, it’s a film that gives you all of the details, but at the same time, those details aren’t laid bare. Working out what the film is doing and what it’s trying to say thematically is part of the appeal. Lynch would go even further with this later on in the much-beloved third season of Twin Peaks, but Mulholland Drive explores what working in Hollywood can do to someone and how relationships between people in that environment can affect their minds and their souls.

In the end, all of it worked to Lynch’s advantage as Mulholland Drive was very well-received when it was released, earning him an Oscar nod for best director, but also putting Naomi Watts on the map. Fragmented or otherwise, it’s a great piece of work.Pioneer UHD drives are now supported more info about that will be coming from the developer and once the info is out i will update stuff here an attendant 1080 version, though that may be due to some of those licensing issues, since it was MVD Visual that released the film on 1080 disc last Refn has been promising a special 'Queen' edition of Drive for the last decade, and it looks like Second Sight have finally delivered What makes Mulholland Drive so compelling is the non-linear narrative and the interpretation therein. Despite director David Lynch’s ‘ten points’ to unravelling the plot, the basic idea is relatively simple. But the interpretation of the various elements and their meaning within the larger picture remains enigmatic and thus is largely left to the individual. The screenshots used do not represent the 4K UHD because of the resolution and HDR downscaling used to take screenshots. ----
