Highly recommend In terms of hair nutrition, this shampoo is not the best either. It doesn’t really condition your hair, it just deposits violet pigments on it. It won’t dry your hair, but if you have bleached hair you know how much it craves moisture.

If you have naturally grey hair that is becoming muddy or brassy, this will help as well. Fanola No Yellow is unapologetically purple. It’s so purple it may feel like your hair is turning silver. The purple shampoo Fanola No Yellow is probably the most pigmented one you can actually buy outside of a hairdresser. Leave it too long, and your highlights may develop lavender streaks. This purple tinted shampoo contains ultra-strong violet pigments, that makes blonde and grey hair brighter and shinier. Suitable for use with streaked, bleached and lightened blonde hair, unwanted yellow tones are neutralised. Bleached and blonde hair will be given added brightness and left with a cool, ashy tone. If your zone has hard water, use a hard water shampoo first and then wash with this one for maximum effect. It won’t remove mineral buildup or lighten your hair. This is great for toning blonder, by far the best I’ve come across so far, but it does leave my hair quite dry so I follow with a super nourishing conditioner. Will stain your hands too! Not sure if its the shampoo or my damaged hair but i wish it would lather better. I have to mix with my normal shampoo so i feel like its actually cleaning my scalp. Follow with Fanola No Yellow Mask for further toning, or Nutricare Mask for nourishment and hydration. I have dyed blonde and long hair and this shampoo is very drying as it is so extreme however if it is used only every so often it works well and ensures my blonde is looking nice. It is good quality for the price. You can use this shampoo to tone hair after bleaching but if your hair is very damaged or sensitive you may be better off with a nourishing toning mask instead. It won’t dry your hair further, but it will not hydrate it either. If your hair is very porous, leave it for less than 5 minutes, wash it off and if needed apply it again. It’s easier to just apply it again and trying to remove visible violet tones from your freshly bleached hair. I either use it every shampoo OR as a mask and apply it to dry hair for 10-15 minutes (don’t do this if your hair is very damaged or white blonde, as it can stain purple). It will also stain your hands for a few days or so.I was recommended this by a friend after lightening my hair from brunette however I did not read that it is not sulfate free. After using this my hair became very dry. As my hair is quite fine I found that I needed to use a heavy treatment after. I now use mr smith blond shampoo which has a nicer affect. This product may work for some however it just did not agree with my hair
