About this deal

I like it - although I must admit I never wear it - but many of my watches never get worn and I like them nonetheless :-d: Casio Computer Co., Ltd. was formed in June 1957. [1] That year, Casio released the Model 14-A, sold for 485,000 yen, [7] the first all-electric compact calculator, which was based on relay technology. BTW, just for additional info, if the plastic bezel part become shiny, you can use pencil eraser to dull them up..

Thank you very much d2mac! and also thank a lot mike! after see you try out the nail polish remover from d2mac and succed, i just try my self and it really work! Size: 50.5 x 50.4 x 13.5 millimeters (versus 48.9 x 42.8 x 13.4 for the DW-5600). Those who find the 5600 series too small may prefer this larger size. The larger size of this watch also means larger digits on the display. The watch also has bigger buttons that are operable with gloves. In 1974, Casio released their first digital wristwatch, called the CASIOTRON. It was the first wristwatch in the world to include an automatic calendar function. [8] In 1977, they released a retro-futuristic wristwatch, called the F100. The watch was one of the first wristwatches in the world to be made primarily out of resin, making it very light compared to other companies' heavy metal-made watches and enabling future Casio watches to enter mass production more easily. [9] In 1989, Casio released another important wristwatch; the F-91W, the most sold wristwatch in the world with an annual production of 3 million units. [10] Casio AD-300,AW-61, DW-280, DW-290,MD-309,MD-310 Watch Strap (19mm fitting, 24mm at shoulders) - Watch Band for AD300,AW-61 DW280, DW290G, DW2900GMV, MD-309, MD-310 WatchesSo with all that being said, what is the final conclusion on the Casio DW290? Should you buy this watch? After seeing the electric calculators at the first Business Show in Ginza, Tokyo in 1949, Kashio and his younger brothers (Toshio, Kazuo, and Yukio) used their profits from the yubiwa pipe to develop their calculators. Most of the calculators at that time worked using gears and could be operated by hand using a crank or using a motor (see adding machine). I think the watch has a great, startling look to it, and I think I will get one sooner or later for myself. I really like how it is a real bargain, that makes for some lightheaded usage! What we can conclude here is that this is yet another solid watch from Casio. In terms of build quality, and pricing, you get a pretty decent watch at a very affordable price. I put it on the 5600 adapters, works ok. What could be used as spacers on each side of the adapter to keep it from sliding?

It is priced on the lowest pricing tier of watches. While it stops just shy of being a truly bargain bin priced watch, the price is low enough that it shouldn’t be a burden on anybody’s wallet. Now that we’ve covered the basics, we can get into the depth of this review. The first aspect of this watch that we are going to look at is the build quality. Build QualityThere are 2 other color variations. The 1AVCF with gray LCD, silver-gray bezel combo, and the 1BVEF with gray LCD, silver-gray bezel and a red surround panel under the crystal. Toshio possessed some knowledge of electronics and set out to make a calculator using solenoids. After dozens of prototypes were tested, the desk-sized calculator was finished in 1954 and was Japan's first electro-mechanical calculator. One of the central and more important innovations of the calculator was its adoption of the 10-key number pad; at that time other calculators were using a "full keypad", which meant that each place in the number (1s, 10s, 100s, etc ...) had nine keys. Another distinguishing innovation was the use of a single display window instead of the three display windows (one for each argument and one for the answer) used in other calculators. [1] [6]

One of the quibbles I have with the Casio is the plastic strap. When new, it is stiff. Perhaps it will loosen up over time, but after four days on my wrist, it has yet to do so. This makes putting it on and taking it off a bit of a struggle. Another ding against the Casio is the “Adjust” button on the upper left. This button starts and stops the timer and stopwatch, but it is recessed so as to not accidentally activate it. I think it is a bit too hard to press this button. I have to get the right angle with my fingertip. The other buttons have a nice touch and are easy to press. With all that being said, let’s get into it! The first thing we are going to look at though is the specifications. Casio also makes products for local markets, including "Prayer Compass" watch series designed to help Muslims pray on time and in the right direction. [16] Gallery [ edit ] Casio Computer Co., Ltd. [note 1] ( カシオ計算機株式会社, Kashio Keisanki Kabushiki-gaisha) is a Japanese multinational electronics manufacturing corporation headquartered in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan. Its products include calculators, mobile phones, digital cameras, electronic musical instruments, and analogue and digital watches. It was founded in 1946, and in 1957 introduced the first entirely compact electronic calculator. It was an early digital camera innovator, and during the 1980s and 1990s, the company developed numerous affordable home electronic keyboards for musicians along with introducing the first mass-produced digital watches. Points to note in the features, are that it does have a split time feature for 1st and 2nd place times. Additionally, the calendar comes pre programmed all the way up to the year 2029, so you probably won’t have to set it. There is a downside to the alarm feature in that you can only set 1 alarm. Other Casio watches allow for multiple alarms to bet set. This is probably the closest I've found, and it's just an excellent watch from what I've been told, but is there something more adequate?
