The distillery will remain closed for public in 2023 - this includes all tours, the distillery shop and the tasting bar. Due to a shortage of staff we will unfortunately not be able to welcome any visitors this year. The distillery, now owned by the Signatory Vintage Scotch Whisky Company, opened in 1825 and is known for the small scale of its production. It is operated by three people and produces just 12 casks per week. The whisky is made using traditional methods and the entirety of the process is done at their beautiful farm setting near the town of Pitlochry.
