About this deal

Doing this mod wasn’t about making the pitch and roll equal, nor was it about “fighting pitch”, or not knowing what trim does. I am having problems I have followed your instructions but nothing. I don't even have the Honeycomb under Addon's any suggestion why that is Pre-set buttons are mixed bag. All seem to constantly fire their state so if mapped to a button that is repeatable I believe you would get constant inputs. That being said they are labeled for binary functions already and work great for those in nearly every aircraft. The buttons work correctly, however the button LIGHTS do NOT. I can't seem to find where and how the lights are programmed for a particular push button.

Should I wait for the new version of the honeycomb alpha? It has spring loaded key ignition, new form factor, xbox compatibility. I'm not sure if I should go for the original alpha or wait for the xtc model. What do you guys think?

Dunno what you mean by 'range', but the Alpha XPC has 10-bit sensors. That brings the resolution up to Saitek standards 😉The issue is not the pot itself, its their microcontroller. The current alpha yoke has only 8-bit resolution (256 steps) on both pith and roll axes. That’s way too little for 2020 standard.

Honeycomb Aeronautical - Aviate Navigate Simulate

Over on the MS Forums, about every 4th post is about somebody trying to get the honeycomb to work the way it should. At their price, I doubt that it is the most used hardware, but sure does raise a lot of issues. I want a yoke, but I am afraid of the price vs. performance issues. Flight simulator accessories maker, Honeycomb Aeronautical, has showcased several upcoming Xbox and PC-compatible products. For players interested in piloting with keyboards, look no further than the Razer Turret for Xbox. The Razer Turret for Xbox includes Razer Mechanical Switches, featuring optimized actuation and reset points. Every command is executed with super-fast responsiveness and precision. It’s also paired with a built-in mouse and mat, sporting the acclaimed Razer 5G Advanced Optical Sensor delivering industry-leading speed and accuracy.Hey, you are the only other person I know that uses (used) the X45. That is what I am using now. I have just started to notice some noise in the rudder paddle. I have some questions if you don't mind:

ALPHA FLIGHT CONTROLS – Honeycomb Aeronautical

Microsoft Flight Simulator's expansion to consoles has spawned new Xbox-compatible accessories, including the all-inclusive VelocityOne Flight system from Turtle Beach. While better known for gaming headsets, the manufacturer recently debuted its first Flight Simulator-ready accessory, primed for Xbox consoles and Windows PCs. Finally received my HC Bravo yesterday and its glorious, but the laborious task of keybinding is upon us.There is a problem with the AutoPilot, where the NAV button activates the LOC button in the aircraft and REV button activates the LNAV button in the aircraft. I'll try to fix it, but might need some help. There is still some resistance on the pitch axis due to mechanical drag inside the yoke mechanism. To have bit better balancing of pitch and roll axis I replaced the roll bungee with a much weaker rubber band. The case-hardened piston shafts were pitted too deep for reuse and I had no problem getting permission to take the discarded steel. I simply did the machine work during lunch and/or after my shift. Of course, production shops do the same and in fact ALL machine shops have a base hourly rate, but in small job shops, they’ll charge for every minute it takes to acquire the material, create a print, etc., etc.
