About this deal

This stuff is just horrid. It smells like a eucalyptus and cat pee mixture. I tried scrubbing it off but it's still faintly there. I guess it's worth reminding yourself that no one has ever received a compliment going like: "Wow, you smell so clean, familiar and neutral!" Yes, Kouros has a strong character, but that's what makes it a good fragrance and sets it apart from today's mainstream fragrances. English is not my first language, so I apologize upfront for all grammar, syntactic and orthography mistakes I will make. When it comes to perfumes, from the 80s up until the late 2000’s Yves Saint Laurent was one of the most influential and creative houses that released hit after hit. Pretty sure you should bring charisma and some life experience, maybe some scars and of course the ability to make and defend unpopular decisions However, in situations where you should be balancing or actually subordinate, I would advise against using this fragrance. Examples of this would be an interview in a therapeutic context or an interview. Before visiting a perfumery, I would also leave it...

there's a sense of animalic masculinity in every men. we need certain things to trigger its up. some men goes to the gym to build up their muscles, some work in military and some wear Kouros. the scent is too masculine, its so strong that drive yourself wild. you can feel the heat that caused by this beast, a heat that almost as strong as instinct of animal. a sense of power and confidence together with courage to show yours into other men I'm talking about the perfume from the 80s, which is still in my collection, I know it was reformulated several times, but the first Kuros is a monster, it was made when men were men) Edit: Parfums-Corp vintage Aftershave coming, and vintage Charles of the Ritz 10ml miniature EDT coming.Edit : The opening is more on the incensy side like I said, but after two hours, it settles into this musky soap that I love. Who grumbles here, has probably never really understood Yves Saint Laurent. And also not the high art of perfumes.

Europe, and you just went to one of those dirty public toilets, you know with those soaps that look like they've been sitting there for 10 years? Dry, chipping away, just the cheapest, nastiest soap imaginable. I´ve recently bought new bottle (white framing) and it is considerably weaker than the another white-framing one which I already own for some time (both are weaker than the one with silver framing).

Yves Saint Laurent Kouros EDT Natural Spray Men 100 ml

I know, it sounds hard to like. But to me, it’s well-blended, fresh and spicy enough to be worn. Even to my contemporary nose. Who designed Kouros Fraicheur? The original Kouros was created by Pierre Bourdon, but what about KF ? Believe it or not, Kouros still holds up its high-price event after so many years which just confirms that some things are timeless and meant to stay. Value for money is average(current formulation). Pros and Cons I rushed home to rub vinegar on myself to remove the smell. I think the smell is mostly gone. This review has helped me process the trauma. What do I know, though? I was still a baby when Romario Faria was said to wear Kouros as his signature scent.

If you like it, get a vintage decant/miniature and then get which one you prefer Vintage masculines tend to be conservative, and I am not a conservative person at all. Men can wear female marketed scents and vice versa, but sometimes it's ok to experience this "old world feel", when creativity was off the charts and artists would get inspired from life itself and not their mobile/pc screens.

Clean soapy smell with honey notes, and something very masculine... Suprisingly similar to Prada L'Homme L'Eau. There is definitely a clean/dirty contrast as many say. The "clean" aspect of this fragrance is very similar to Paco Rabanne Pour Homme. To me they're like cousins. It also has this sweaty, musky aspect which gives it a raucous and sexually suggestive character, which does not come off as a body odor smell to me. It does not smell like urine! Kouros is best appreciated as a close waft because if you smell it directly on skin and are not used to this kind of a scent, you will most likely be put off by it. With the current formulation 3 sprays should be enough. Definitely lasts more than 10 hours and even the next day I can still smell it very lightly on my skin. EDIT 08.09.2018: The comparison with a sample from an old vintage bottling revealed the following: I am not odorless when it comes to animal notes! The smell of a superficially maintained but obviously in need of renovation pub toilet keeps the above-mentioned warm and soft notes at bay for hours. Housekeeper's comment: "I couldn't sleep the night away because a very Stone Age part of my brain was desperately trying to stop me from sleeping next to a sleeping cougar." Jacques Bogart One Man Show Gold Edition – an aromatic Fougere fragrance released in 2011. The main notes include Red Apple, Musk, and Cinnamon. The lasting power is 8 – 10 hours with moderate projection.
