Have dreams for yourself and work hard to make those dreams come true. If hard work is not enough, then fight for it. Never, ever, ever, ever settle for second best. Don’t ever let anyone tell you that you are not worthy. You are smart, talented, kind, beautiful, and capable of doing anything you set your mind to. You should chase after the best of everything and expect that it can be yours because you are worth everything good. Don’t be afraid to fight. While I pray we navigate it side by side, here’s a letter to my daughter encompassing everything I want her to know about life. Dear daughter, I hope that I can instill in you a deep sense of faith. Our God is a loving and trustworthy God. He has a plan and a purpose for your life that is more beautiful than even I can imagine. Learn to talk to Him daily, put your faith in Him alone, and trust Him with all things. He will never fail you. And He will give you the instincts and discernment you need to make hard choices and face hard things in this life. You will never fall when you lean into Him. You are worthy of all good things.

I hope you know that I love you from the bottom of my heart. Whichever thing you end up pursuing, my support is unwavering. Your words can leave a lasting mark Today, I am grateful for the woman you have become, and I harbor no doubt in my mind that these qualities will help your marriage thrive. Now take that feeling and multiply by the number of stars in the sky. Then multiply that by the number of blades of grass in central park. Then multiply that by every grain of sand in the Sahara Desert.
