About this deal

Attach the spacer to the hub using the 6 large screws that were previously attached to the logitech cap. Tighten them but not too much, as the threads of the holes in the logitech base are plastic. This may add a little confusion for those who are buying the new G923. Meaning you have to be extra careful you are purchasing the right console version. It is a racing wheel that is completely aimed at the entry-level racing wheel market. Those who don’t currently own any form of racing wheel, but really want to get into sim racing. Just like the previous generation of Logitech racing wheels, the G923 comes in two forms. An Xbox compatible wheel, and a PS4 and PC compatible wheel. Unlike the previous generation, both of these variants look identical and use the same naming convention.

As you drive, you can feel the gears turning, and this is especially true when making very fine wheel angle adjustments. If you are mid-corner, and try to apply slightly more wheel input, you can actually feel the cogs in the gears. Fanatec wheels are perfect if you're looking for a supremely accurate and immersive racing experience. Fanatec's options tend to be on the pricier side. But you'll usually get a lot of extra bells and whistles as a result. What is the best budget F1 racing wheel? Replace the front part of the hub and screw it in with the rear screws you unscrewed at the beginning. Depending on one’s level of play, users will undoubtedly make use of all the wheel’s 900 degree turning radius. However, the best example of the G923 is with Grid (2019). Bridging the gap between sim and arcade like handling, it’s easy for beginners and the hardcore elite to dive in. If you're on a budget, then, we'd recommend either the Thrustmaster T150 or the Hori Overdrive wheel for Formula 1 and other racing sims. They're fantastic entry-level wheels that, unlike the Thrustmaster T300 RS, won't cost the earth. So, almost out of nowhere Logitech revealed their “brand new” racing wheel. This got many sim racers excited until… We all saw how the G923 looked. It looks identical to the G29! The pedal design, construction and positioning are identical to the old kit. This is good news for those racers who have nailed their heel and toe technique. As you won’t need to adjust to new pedal positions.

The clutch, brake, and accelerator pedal set is also essentially aesthetically identical to the G29/G920 pedals; the only way you could really tell the sets apart when looking at them is the logo printed beneath the brake pedal. The only difference is inside; the G923 replaces the rubber stopper under the G29/G920 with a new progressive spring that gets firmer as you depress it. As a result, the Hori is also much lighter than any other wheel here. You’ll still need something to clamp it to, but this is the one wheel here that won’t seem hard done by if it’s not treated to a proper frame or wheel stand.Whether Fanatec or Thrustmaster is the better racing wheel brand will ultimately come down to your personal tastes and budget. I’m almost certain every sim racer will support this over time, but that support network isn’t there just yet. Other than the two versions of the G923, the compatibility remains the same as the G29. This wheel will work across every racing sim available, although as mentioned, the Trueforce technology isn’t fully supported yet. Alan Wake 2 gets a patch full of bug fixes, and a "significantly friendlier error message," as console and PC players report technical issues

The G923 is compatible with the current Logitech standalone shifter, but it doesn’t come with one. Logitech G923 – PerformanceMuch like with the G29 and G920 below, the Thrustmaster TX and T300 wheels are essentially the same, but boast the key difference of working with different consoles. The Thrustmaster TX is for Xbox One and the T300 RS is for PlayStation owners. It's still a healthy level-up that makes the Logitech G923 perfect for PS5, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. But it's just as happy with the Xbox One, PS4 or PC. Make sure you buy the right version, though. There are separate versions for Sony and Microsoft consoles, and both types have the same "G923" name this time around.

Unscrew the 6 front screws of the cap with the logitech logo and detach the front half of the steering wheel from the base. If you are working on a G29 please read the next step carefully Predictably enough, then, the effect is halfway between the Logitech G29 and T300 RS. It’s smooth-ish, but not entirely, and you feel the effect of the geared motor as it pulls against you when you take a corner at high speed.Given the price, the results are great, though.Despite this, unlike some Thrustmaster wheels, this racing wheel oozes extra quality in both design and build. This added quality, combined with the superb game and console support, does lead us to recommend this racing wheel for new sim racers. If you're on a tighter budget, fear not. The best racing wheels can be found across a wide variety of budget scopes, and we've endeavored to include both affordable and more premium setups. Still, it's worth thinking about the kinds of games you're going to play with a racing wheel. The best racing games that benefit most from a wheel setup are those with more realistic or sim-like elements. Hello everyone, I was wondering if the latest Logitech Wheel the G923 works on both the PS4 and XBOX right out of the box? I could have sworn that before only the specific console versions worked, meaning if I bought the G29 ( PS4 ) it wouldn't work with the XBOX and the G920 version didn't work on the PS4.
