the ML was portrayed splendid, props to the actor. he wasn't oblivious but seemed to get along with people around him quite well unlike other leads who act like they are allergic to humans or whatever. no super rich high school 'chaebol' heir so it makes the viewers easy to empathize. the way he looks at the FL melts me uwu. he really set the bar high for a "boy in love". Though Si Yue is portrayed as the school genius and basically this popular guy who is good in everything he does (typical school romance plot right?), but the way the character is acted out is not unrealistic at all. He is not the typical cold blooded, cool guy who is unapproachable. Summary: The Chinese drama is based on Er Dong Tu Zi’s novel of the same name. This drama follows the story of Ding Xian ( Rainbow Xu) and Zhou Si Yue ( Chen Zheyuan) a story adapted from the novel 耳东兔子 which is set in the High School and University Years of their lives. Meeting for the first time in high school, the two did not get along, but as time went on, the bond between the two grew stronger, and gradually, a mutual feeling was developed between the two. I did notice a couple of spelling/grammar mistakes and while I liked that there wasn’t some major conflicts, it felt like the way everything was wrapped up was a little cheesy. I guess I was expecting more to happen. Zhou Si Yue gets to have dinner with Ding Xian. He normally has dinner alone because Mom isn’t usually home.
