About this deal

Our Closer to Nature baby bottles all meet or surpass the requirements for volume tolerances as specified by European Standard EN 14350. Being a parent takes energy, courage, strength and creativity every day. It’s a role you can never truly prepare for, because when a baby is born, so are parents. We’re here to help. Our first creation was a baby cup that wouldn’t tip over. We never stop inventing. From award-winning breast-like teats to sleep-saving bottle preparation, we create ingenious products that make life a little easier for parents all over the world. #ParentOn WARNING: Do not use other brands of filter in your machine. Even if they fit, they may not remove the same level of bacteria. Using this machine without a Tommee Tippee water filter could put your child’s health at risk. Before first use you need to run a cleaning cycle – which should take approximately 10 minutes. For hygiene and safety reasons you should clean your unit on a regular basis. Press the descale button for 2 seconds and the system will run a descale process. During the descale process the red descale light will continue to flash.

Pop a container under the dispenser outlet to capture the water used to clean the system (ideally at least 1 litre capacity). The empty warning light should be off. The hot light should be on. It’s therefore possible for the combination of both tolerances, machine, and bottle, to make the volume dispensed by the machine appear inaccurate. This product is intended to filter potable (drinking) water only. Do not put water of unknown quality into this product.High water temperature should only ever be an issue in hotter climates, but it is not uncommon for mains water to rise in temperature in cooler climates during a sustained period of hot weather.

The Tommee Tippee filters include an anti-bacterial filtration membrane which has been verified as being as effective as boiling water for removing bacteria. So, although other water filters will fit your machine, they will NOT remove the same level of bacteria. The Perfect Prep™ should be kept in a cool, dry location, avoiding direct sunlight, and kept away from warm appliances. This is recommended to avoid the tank temperature getting too warm. The Perfect Prep™ unit contains a probe that measures the temperature of the water in the tank which prevents the unit from dispensing if the water is above 27°C. This is a key safety feature to ensure that the final feed is not too hot for your baby. Take a look at the image below for more information on why the Perfect Prep Filter is the best for use in the Perfect Prep™ machine.

Small particles of carbon may be in the bag or on the surface of your filter. These dust particles are harmless and will be reduced during the initial set up process when submerging in clean fresh water. Pour 1 litre of clear/white (food grade) vinegar into the water tank. Top up the water tank to the max line with freshly boiled water and place a suitable container under the dispenser spout.Anti-Bacterial Filter: The Perfect Prep anti-bacterial filter is designed for use with water straight from the tap and ensures that the water is clean and safe to make a bottle feed Press the filter volume reset button for 2 seconds to clear the memory. Discard dispensed water. Your machine is now ready to use. Listen out for the beep and the empty warning light should come on. level low warning light will illuminate once the water has flushed through the system. Press the start/stop button. A green light will flash, and water will be dispensed to finish the cycle. The contents should be discarded.
