We first brewed it as a tribute to the American 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, who during 1943 in preparation for D-Day, were accommodated in Ramsbury and nearby villages. ‘Currahee’, the regimental motto, means ‘stand alone’ and we hope that this ale too, with its smooth taste and citrus finish, does just that.

We’re immensely proud of what we do here at the Ramsbury & Distillery, so it makes sense to us to share this with you. What better way to start your weekend off than touring around a brewery and distillery, drinking ale or spirits and learning how the Ramsbury taste is created? But don’t just take our word for it, experience it for yourself. We will be running tours every Friday & Saturday at 1pm plus a 6.30pm session on the last Friday of every month. Each tour lasts about an 1 hour and 30 minutes. You’ll be guided by one of the team, with ample tastings of our beers and spirits along the way. Our bottles are lovely, but they’re also an homage to our estate. To a way of doing things that make sense and protects our land. To our environmentally conscious process.
