Well I am totally wrung out after just finishing this book, the third by C L Taylor and in my opinion her best so far. The name of the book has created a lot of confusion because no one seems to have a solid understanding of who actually named the book 2 Ezra. Trying to develop that balance of guiding and disciplining your child but starting to let go and just hope you have done your best to raise a good adult. The other novels—Sabotaged, Torn, Caught, and Risked—continue with Jonah and Katherine’s journey to correct history and rescue all of the missing children. The book of Tobit is about Tobit and his family living outside of Israel as exiles. Tobit eventually goes blind and is forced to send his son, Tobias, on a journey with the angel Raphael disguised as a human. This is when Tobias meets Sarah who is possessed by a demon, but Raphael is able to intervene and expel the demon allowing Tobias and Sarah to marry. A difficult subject matter, but written superbly. Plot, characters, all very strong and very well researched. I've always loved Cally's writing, but this sets the mark.
