But there was an awesome grandmother, Anouska, to make up for everything you might not like in the book. She was an absolute blast. I laughed the hardest at her scenes. I wouldn't say that I'm as adventurous or as free as she is, but her humour certainly reminded me of my own. The Wrong Mr. Right’ features a talented ensemble cast. Anna Marie Dobbins (‘ The Pom Pom Murders‘) plays the role of the suspicious daughter Jessica, while Krista Allen (‘Days of Our Lives’) plays her mother, Tracy. Allen has also appeared in ‘ The Wrong Stepfather‘. Vivica A. Fox, a regular on ‘The Wrong’ franchise, plays Tracy’s best friend, Sandra. You may remember Fox from her performances in ‘Independence Day’, ‘ Kill Bill Vol.1‘, and ‘ Empire‘. Rib Hillis, best known for ‘Port Charles’, plays Paul, while Eric Roberts (‘ Suits‘, ‘The Dark Knight’) portrays the role of Hal, the private investigator. Is The Wrong Mr. Right Based on a True Story? There isn’t a rush quite like Vivica’s CarShield ads playing during a Vivica movie’s commercial breaks. These had her saying things like “Listen to your auntie Vivica!” and “Tell them Viv from Indy sent ya!” She’ll accept and commit to any job, and that’s what makes her the busiest woman in Hollywood!

Hey Lifetime. It's David DeCoteau I've got a great idea for a movie, it's about a teenager who suspects her mother's new boyfriend is a con artist. We can call it The Wrong Stepfather'This is a must read. One of the best books I have read this year so far. I loved this book. Robert Bryndza is brilliant. My only complaint is that the book was not longer. I wanted to keep on reading. The characters were a mixture of cute, romantic, hilarious dears that you just wanted to curl up on the couch with. I found myself getting lost in each person’s drama and honestly wasn’t sure which man, if any, Natalie would end up with. Clearly Natalie’s Gran stole the show and is someone I won’t soon forget. In fact, I would love to see some sort of continuation with the characters, or even a spin off book featuring Gran (Gran’s Gone Wild!). I don’t want to spoil any of the surprises, but the ending left me with a feel good lump in my chest and put me at ease in a way I haven’t experienced in some time. Highly recommended to those who aren’t afraid to include a little fluff in their reading diet; you’ll be so glad you chose not to miss out on this one!

Despite her doubts, Jessica wants to believe that Ross is the perfect man for her. However, as she becomes more and more entangled in his web of lies, she realizes that she may be in grave danger.

Anyway the ending is semi-happy because Rib fails to con the mother and milk her for all the money and assets she has, but as in most Lifetime movies, despite getting shot and while no one is looking or at least keeping a gun pointed at him while someone calls the police, he magically disappears and in the final scene we see him in another city moving in on his next mark. And then when the daughter storms into her room and she follows her and while sobbing defends her decisions and actions and reasons, which are all pathetic excuses. The main Character is Natalie, who we learn straight away,she is about to get married to Jamie at a young age and gets cold feet.
Fun fact: a different edition of this book was on my to-read shelf since early 2015. How it got there? I have no idea. In a 2007 case, a 7-year-old girl jumped in front of her mother to shield her from bullets fired by a crazed ex-lover. Though she got hit by multiple bullets, the extraordinarily brave little girl miraculously survived and recovered from her injuries, while the gunman was caught by the police. More than a decade after the incident, the brave young woman became a high school graduate in 2019. Miss Wrong and Mr Right is a perfect title for this book. Robert Bryndza took me on a fantastic journey and I would highly recommend reading this book. In the U.S. dub of Mr. Men and Little Miss, he sounded like Curly Howard (Jerome Horwitz) off of The Three Stooges. The two actresses in this were pretty bad (Krista Allen was great on DAYS and she's not bad in most of her Lifetime movies) Rib was a total ham but you expect it of the villain. The storyline wasn't anything new but Lifetime needs to step it up . Woman totally smitten by a man who isn't all he seems. Doesn't believe her kid who has discovered his unsavory nature. You know this story but we excuse the predictability....sometimes. If we can't get rid of this story template then Lifetime needs to come up with more creative ways to get mature women who should know better to fall for conmen after two weeks. There's another movie where a mom with a college bound daughter turns over her finances to her brand spanking new husband and he wipes out everything. Does it happen in real life? Sure, but sitting through this scenario in these movies gets tedious.

My favourite character is her Gran, Anouska who is Hungarian and always ready with advice and goulash. If you're watching this movie expecting something different from your standard LMN plot, you need to learn more about LMN movies and Vivica A Fox's 'Wrong' movies in particular. I'd swear there's another LMN movie with this exact same plot (hidden identity discovered by the damsel in distress). He is also one of the characters that appears in some of 1995 TV Series Episodes with his correct and incorrect colours just like Mr. Worry. Natalie Love has worked hard to have it all. She runs a successful London theatre that's about to host one of Hollywood's leading stars, Ryan Harrison. She’s pretty sure she’s found her man in yoga boyfriend Benjamin, despite his annoying habit of saying Namaste! every time he speaks. And her eccentric, glamorous Hungarian Gran is always on hand to offer sage advice and steaming bowls of goulash.
