When I began researching for my new book, ‘ Why Woo Woo Works’, one of the first subjects I investigated was Reiki. Even things like prayer and telepathic communication were discussed, and these are things I’m interested in. I came out with a stronger belief in how my connection to people and things around me influences my life. Things I Bookmarked In Why Woo-Woo Works In contrast, I am more scientific. I want proof. The term is believed to have been coined in the 1980’s, possibly in imitation of the wailing sound associated with ghosts and the supernatural.”
