And as if we weren’t spoiled enough, there’s another Illustrated Edition in the works: MinaLima, the graphic artists behind the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts movies, will release an illustrated edition of Book 1 this October. I love his interpretation of Harry Potter’s world, and I feel honoured and grateful that he has lent his talent to it. Jim Kay has so far illustrated four of the seven Harry Potter books in the series, with his most recent work in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire released back in 2019.

Neil Packer added: ‘As both a friend and a colleague it was an honour to be asked to work alongside Jim Kay on this book. After a one-man exhibition at Richmond Gallery he was approached by a publisher and his freelance career began.

Each day features a favourite anniversary or meaningful memory from the Harry Potter novels (366 in fact – including one extra for the leap year) all delicately illustrated with scenic artwork along the way.
