Two-Face– For those of you who remember The Animated Series, you’ll instantly recognize this version of Two-Face…except I think the one on TV had a necktie while the figure sports a bowtie. Its feet are a simple clip, which fits over the bicep but weirdly is too small to fit over her wrist for a more realistic perch. So it was a great relief to find this second series of DC heroes and villains packaged up individually just like the awesome "generic" Imaginext series! I wish they would have ignored the vest sculpt and just painted his torso blue and white, to further push the homage (and cut down on all the black on this figure). There's a reissued Knight helmet and armor (clearly from the " Battle Arena" series thanks to the big rectangle on the back meant to glue into some kind of action-pack) and a big Sci-Fi/Gladiator sword - which is, honestly, quite cool!

We expected these to drop at any point here in the States, but a strange thing happened – Series 2 began cropping up, first one or two little places, and nowadays you can find these at pretty much any retailer of Imaginext. Pieces of Series 5 are pretty easy to find still, and most of the stuff isn’t all that expensive elsewhere online. The biker outfit seems a bit incongruous and the fire hydrant accessory is well done but an odd, if not confusing, choice. Besides, they must have lost that sack-mask tooling since this one is so clearly based on that (but is much looser and soft sculpt). As is the case for all these series, there a code number unique to each figured stamped on the upper left corner of the back of the package - making it very easy to find the one you want!I presume this is just a repaint of any number of Batman figures, but he does get some brand-new tooling is the guise of new hands sporting the "totally not a Wolverine ripoff" (I mean, he's almost wearing Wolverine's colors for crying out loud! Overall, this Green Lantern is fine, but he's definitely not as strong of a release as the previous three figures. It's a novel figure with a big bulky torso featuring a shark head and fin, all dressed up in Pirate clothes.

It's kind of amazing that Imaginext went for this variation of the character (and in just the second series too) given the source material, but I'm quite happy to get him!As far as the DC Super Friends goes, I *think* we are at Series 5 right now, so maybe you won’t have too much keeping up to do. Due to his robe he has a mono-leg, which isn't that much of a change since all Imaginext legs move in unison, but his arms, hands and head move normally. This Sinestro is a surprisingly good rendition of his classic outfit - I just wish they'd make his much cooler Corps version more readily available! All the best brands have collectible toys for children to swap and share so there’s bound to be the right range for you.

The clip is a little too loose of a fit unfortunately, but maybe it's just stretched out a bit from living on Jayna's bicep for awhile here. None of the figures have official names, but each has a blind bag code embossed on the back of the bag in the upper left corner. This is, I believe, the first time they've included a figure in the blind bag series that directly ties-in to a current series of the regular toys that is on shelves concurrently. However, it seemed like I remembered a gap – 81 – 86 and then 88 – but these things sometimes have gaps…turns out I found a single 87. From the latest Mini Brands collectibles to Cats vs Pickles squishy soft toys and Star Wars figures theres something for everyone.I really like the green skin, a very nice counterpoint to the bright pink shirt, and the three-dot brain-light graphic is nicely captured and printed on his forehead. I do commend Imaginext’s tip of the hat towards The Animated Series with Two-Face and Catwoman, though other versions of these 2 are relatively easy to find. I do wish there was at least one more better-known character or costume in this mix though, and ideally a villain.
