It definitely gave me longer, thicker lashes but I really had to build it up to achieve the look of lashes I like. I didn’t see much of a difference in the curl because I have naturally curly lashes but in volume yes.

The only downside I found was the applicator which is great for the upper lashes I struggled with the lower lashes and found the mascara clumpy on the lower lash.That’s the whole point why I wanted to try Lash Paradise because I was having so many issues with smudging. It’s a pink/white color and you have to make sure you coat all of your lashes with the regular Lash Paradise or the pink/white color of the primer will show through.

I know not everyone uses a primer on their lashes, but after reading a bunch of recommendations to use the Lash Paradise primer with the mascara I figured it wouldn’t hurt. All in all I would say that this mascara could be improved by providing a different brush and the actual product being thinner. After doing this 1-2 times, I will then gently place it on the back of my lashes (in between my lashes and eyelid) and gently brush up that way. But a caring formula doesn’t mean you can only get a subtle finish, either apply a single swipe for subtle natural looking definition or build the layers for intense volume and length! Most mascaras I apply lose its effect during the day but this one definitely kept my lashes lifted even without using a lash curler.It said there a gentle formula and I actually felt that it was lightweight and still made my lashes look visibly longer. It takes a lot of practice and I’ve been doing this method since I was a teenager but trust me, it’s the best way to get your lashes thick and full. When I first gave it a go, I saw that the brush and application definitely resembled the Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara (even the packaging is super similar…I think this was done on purpose) so I was hoping it would give me the same effect without the flakiness or black smudge under my eyes. I have pretty long lashes so they sometimes hit my eyelid and under my eye when I blink, but I never experienced any smudging with the L’Oreal Lash Paradise. After about 4 days I decided to use a different brush from a previous mascara I was previously using and was pleasantly surprised at the improvement.
