For one, I was forced to bury my disbelief so deep it probably suffers from a vitamin D deficiency now. While sending-up the romance industry, she chronicles the very romantic (and oddly believable) love affair between a handsome film star and a divorced suburban mom and she turns tradition on its head. I don’t care that Noras’ son told him a lie because he was hurt Leo left - he’s 10 years old and reacted like a 10 year old would.She worries about money constantly, and is only willing to accept the chaos of a film shooting on her property because of the cash infusion and the chance to wow her neighbors. I can't remember a more enjoyable flight - even though I wore a mask the entire time and didn't eat or drink anything. I really appreciate how well you articulated your reaction to the different aspects of the book, and it sounds like I’d have similar feelings! I loved Nora and her two children Arthur and Bernadette and Leo Vance isn't too shabby either with his smoldering good looks! I picked this up after seeing glowing reviews from GR friends so thank you to all the friends who read this book before me.
