Part of REI’s Junction bikepacking bag line, the Junction Top Tube Bag attaches to the top tube via two fixed velcro straps, plus an additional shock cord strap near the stem. It features a YKK Uretek water resistant zipper, padding along the tubing, as well as adjustable velcro straps for the top tube and seat tube. The fixed rear strap and sturdy side panels really help keep things in place, even when fully loaded, which is a pretty big deal considering its size.

The long zipper allows you to open the bag wide, and the internal compartment is lined with hi-viz yellow to help you quickly and easily spy the stuff you want. We often hear top tube bags referred to as “gas tanks” thanks to a teardrop shape reminiscent of 1970s dirt bikes.
