Jacqueline Wilson has written literally dozens of books, and if you aren't already a fan you very soon will be.

I also think that this is why she thinks he can fix everything, because she thinks fixing her problems is about as likely as meeting an extremely famous, reclusive author.Moving on in the story, a new girl, Jasmine Day, comes to Violet's school and she chooses her as a friend. Instead, the conclusion of the story has nothing to do with Violet’s issues with her brother but with her obsession with fairies and a book. The arrival of Jasmine, a new girl at school who immediately befriends Violet, seemed like it might change Violet's life for the better and allow her to break free of Will's spell.
