There is punch of fruits, flowers with a tangy essence to it probably due to pink pepper which gives it a little kick making it unique scent. It reminds me of Chance by Chanel (the original), which was my first ever fragrance at the age of 15. One of those where I imagine that I probably won't be able to remember exactly what this smells like after I've worn it because it's pretty generic.My mom loved the fragrance on paper as well noting that it was a feminine version of what she likes in a men's cologne. Personally, I don't usually like very peppery fragrances but this is super pretty and layers well with a wide variety of other perfumes. Top notes are Raspberry, Pink Pepper and Galbanum; middle notes are Egyptian Jasmine, Freesia and Orris Root; base notes are Patchouli, Vanilla Absolute, Musk and Ambergris. As it sat on my wrist and the top notes settled some, I could really smell the orris root mixing with the raspberry among a deeper backdrop of vetiver and patchouli.

Unfortunately it really does, but there's still something nice about it, almost like a note trying to poke through the syntheticness. DKNY has added a little more zest to this composition with the raspberry, so that makes it slightly different. Unlike a lot of the fruitchoulis out there, this one has a great amount of patchouli that jumps out instantly and remains for the entire dry down, which mellows into a creamy vanillary patchouli. Succulent blood orange, chilled vodka and vine-ripe tomato provides a splash to the senses, while an intoxicating dewy floral accord evokes a stylish sensuality. to my nose the right balance of fresh notes with a stronger emphasis on a warm base, I detect the orris root, the patchouli is real soft, I dont get much fruity notes but the overall tone of the scent is pretty, intimate, real nice.

It is super strong when you first spray it thankfully gets a little lighter in smell as time goes on. And, with new DKNY fragrances being released for both men and women, there are endless options to add to your personal collection. After the fairly sharp initial scent, it calms down to an almost earthy warmth, with a bit of sweetness. For anyone looking for a young, fruity-floral Fall/Winter scent that won't offend anyone around you, this is a good pick. This is a very safe, quite affordable and pleasant perfume which I recommend either for yourself or to be offered as a gift.
