I still love Mo - he is one of my faves and his relationship with Meggie was definitely one of my favourite parts of the first book, which I guess is another part of why it took me so long to get into Inkspell as they were separated until the last quarter of the book - although that did make the last quarter very enjoyable. Walking through the Inkworld, seeing Ombra, meeting the bandsmen and the Black Prince, following Dustfinger (who really became sort of the main character, at least for a while) when he speaks with the trees and does all kinds of other wonderful magic .
