About this deal

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. April of 1992 one of the biggest Rock events of the music history took place in the London Wembley Stadium.

All brought their personal styles and interpretations, sometimes to telling effect, such as Minnelli's wry reading of the line "Mistakes, I've made a few" in "We Are the Champions. The band later released in 2021 a re-mixed and re-mastered version of their performance as well as a rendition of Queen's Stone Cold Crazy with James Hetfield and Tony Iommi on the remastered box set of their album Metallica. The music then commenced with short sets from artists that were influenced by the music of Queen, including Metallica, Extreme (playing a Queen medley), Def Leppard (who brought Brian May onstage for a version of " Now I'm Here"), and Guns N' Roses. Books, media, tickets, Rammstein, Die Ärzte, Die Toten Hosen, Feine Sahne Fischfilet, Broilers, New Balance, Böhse Onkelz, Funko Pop! We all like the idea of saving a bit of cash, so when we found out how many good quality used products are out there - we just had to let you know! The "Cabaret" star singing the sports anthem "We Are the Champions" with a rock band in a stadium filled with 72,000 people? I was lucky enough to be at the event all those years back (as well as the last Wembley concert and Knebworth) and dearly wish the producers at the time had the foresight to film this with 35mm cameras so we could enjoy the full spectacle in HD but, alas, this was not to be. In any case the concert is great, wonderful to relive it, however as I suspected, it is not complete.

Guns N' Roses' performance of "Knockin' on Heaven's Door" was released in May 1992 as a double A-side, with the band's studio recording of the song; it was also featured on their album Live Era '87–'93. After comparing it to the full screen VHS release, I found very little was masked, the DVD was framed *very* well.In the hour-long documentary accompanying the 105-minute concert on this double DVD released to mark the concert's tenth anniversary, Plant notes that none of the performers could sing Queen's songs as well as Mercury -- and in the right keys -- but they often provide interesting glosses on those songs, making this a valuable document for Queen fans, apart from the charity aspect. A few months ago they played on "Queen's Day" in Holland to 120,000 people and in June joined some of the biggest music stars ever at "Party at the Palace" as part of the Queen of England's jubilee celebrations. Previous DVD release was re-formatted by the producers to fit a 16x9 shape and they used the usual means to do this (cut off top and bottom and a bit a stretch) so the 4:3 actually means you are watching the show as it was recorded. The only definitive version would be the full TV coverage, of which the only copies out there will be well worn VHS.
