About this deal

Shame that it needs moisturising before hand, the SPF I don’t mind, but that is just annoying to have to put another layer beneath. I have dreams of getting something that truly does it all – SPF25, light coverage, matifying, blemish control (a bit of some kind of acid would be good, to keep the spots down)… I get the impressino that this is what the original BB creams were all about. I prefer a matt foundation with good coverage as I have quite an uneven skintone, but as my skin is getting a little older I find that the more matt the foundation, the more it settles into my fine lines and looks a little cakey, so I’m always on the look out for something a little lighter, but something that still offers good coverage. Its unique 3in1 formula evens and improves skin tone and conceals imperfections while the nutrientenriched formula helps to banish blemishes. I do then brush over some powder just to give it a bit more staying power and then a bit of mascara and I’m done.

I must say though that the colour range are all pink/salmon toned so if you prefer yellow toned foundations this isn't the one. It certainly it stands up to the rigours of driving a desk in my office, so all in all, I’m very impressed!

Shedding some light into this complex condition is Dr Catherine Borysiewicz, an experienced consultant dermatologist within the NHS. I’ve found that the coverage is quite buildable, and it covers my red bits quite nicely, especially if I put a little extra over any particularly stubbornly flushed areas. I've not used a tinted cream style foundation before and this was recommended to me by a No7 sales rep in Boots.Just tried this product in normal/oily, I use it on top of a simple nivea moisturiser and its really fab. Step 1: Cleanse skin with your favourite No7 cleanser, such as No7 Melting Gel Cleanser, then gently pat dry.

This light tinted BB foundation helps to cover up unwanted blemishes while ramping up your radiance every day. I’m really enjoying what feels like a bonus inclusion for the dry/very dry camp and this delivers well on not exacerbating any symptoms of dry skin. I use this regularly and whilst it isn’t enough coverage for the area on my chin that’s currently being difficult with a couple of stubborn spots, it’s great at evening out my skin tone, doesn’t show up my pores, minimizes my spot scars and I find that I can apply this and add a bit of powder foundation in the areas that are prone to shine and my chin and I’m good to go. Nourish, protect and enhance while adding a tinted boost of dewy colour to help even out your natural skin tone.

I find you don’t need to put the colour back into your face with endless blushers and bronzers because it doesn’t block out all your natural colour it just gently evens skin tone. Formulated with No7’s unique multivitamin and mineral blend, including Vitamin E and C, plus nourishing rosehip oil, it leaves skin looking brighter whilst protecting from dryness. I have skin that is quite difficult to please as it’s severely combination, so products for oily skin are usually too dry and products for dry skin are usually either too greasy, or lack staying power on my oily zones. Step 2: Blend No7 Beauty Balm Cream evenly into the skin using your fingers or your favourite sponge or foundation brush, working in small circular motions.

I know the ones sold in the UK are mostly like a tinted moisturiser and don’t have the same skincare benefits as the Asian counterparts but I like their light coverage and often dewy finish. I’m so pleased it’s agreeing so well with your skin 🙂 I do think it’s brilliant that they have one for very dry skin as most BB Creams are so middle of the road.No7 have broken away from the norm of BB Creams by introducing skin type specific variants and these include one for normal/oily skin, one for normal/dry skin and one for dry/very dry skin. The coverage is light to medium and although it definitely reduces the appearance of blemishes, those of us who have problem skin will need a little extra concealing on top of it. Lunamac thanks very much for your comment 🙂 I did think the one for very dry skin probably would be quite greasy as I think people with very dry skin need something that’s really emollient otherwise their skin will mistake it for a moisturiser and drink it up! Step 1: Cleanse skin with your favourite No7 cleanser, such as No7 Melting Gel Cleanser, then gently pat dry.
